Spring is here and there is lots going on at The MLC to tell you about in this month’s newsletter!
We have been preparing for our next milestone – The MLC’s distribution of its first royalty payments and statements,
which are scheduled to be sent to Members at the end of April. This inaugural royalty distribution will cover usage reported by DSPs for the month of January 2021. We’ve included more details about our first royalty distribution, including the place on our website where you can find a schedule of the fields that will be included in our royalty statements.
The MLC is on track to deliver its first royalty payments in April. Here are next steps for you to take:
If you are a Member, you are reminded to make sure that we have the most updated contact and payment information for you, which you can review in The MLC Portal by clicking on the Maintenance tab.
If you have not yet joined The MLC, now is the time! You can start the Membership process by clicking here, and remember, all of The MLC’s services are offered to Members completely free of charge.
The MLC is pleased to announce the hiring of three new members to our leadership team!
Kristen Johns (Chief Legal Officer), Nathan Osher (Assistant General Counsel, Publisher Relations) and Andrew Mitchell (Head of Analytics and Automation) joined The MLC in February and will be based in Nashville. Each brings extensive experience in their respective areas to the important work we are doing, and we are thrilled to have all three on board.
